Help and support
Common questions about Frame Exporter Pro.
Frequently asked questions
What video and image formats are supported?
You can import MP4, MOV, M4V, and other standard iOS video formats from Photos, Files, or iCloud Drive. Still frames can be exported as JPEG on the free tier, or as JPEG, PNG, and HEIC with Premium Unlock.
What is included in the free version vs. Premium Unlock?
The free version lets you export up to 5 frames per day as JPEG images at original 1x resolution. Premium Unlock is a one-time $4.99 purchase that removes the daily export limit and adds PNG and HEIC export along with 1.5x, 2x, and 4x upscaling.
How do I restore my Premium Unlock purchase on a new device?
Premium Unlock is a non-consumable purchase tied to your Apple Account. Open the upgrade screen in the app while signed in to the same Apple Account and use the Restore Purchases option.
Does Frame Exporter Pro require an internet connection?
No. Frame extraction and image rendering run locally on your iPhone or iPad. You only need an internet connection if you are downloading a video stored in iCloud Drive or completing an App Store purchase.
Are my videos uploaded to a server?
No. The app contains no networking or upload code. Your videos and exported frames stay on your device.
Which devices are supported?
Frame Exporter Pro runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 26.0 or later, with an adaptive layout for both screen sizes.
